DRUG AND ALCOHOL POLICY
JCB operates a “Zero Tolerance” policy with regards to the use or possession of drugs and/or alcohol while working onboard any JCB’s vessel or at any of her shore locations.
This policy applies, at the workplace, to ALL employees of JCB and also includes visitors and sub-contractors.
The manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession, sale, purchase or use of a controlled substance on JCB’s property is prohibited.
Being under the influence of alcohol with blood alcohol level content of 40 mg/ml or greater and/or illegal drugs on JCB property is prohibited.
Employees who violated this policy are subjected to appropriate disciplinary action including termination.
JCB reserves the right to conduct unannounced search for and random testing of drugs and/or alcohol on her facilities.
NO ONE is allowed to perform duty while impaired by drugs and/or alcohol.
