In promoting the health and well-being of all shore and vessel personnel of JCB, it is the policy of JCB to take appropriate steps to minimize the risk of transmission of infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDs and Hepatitis B.

JCB is also committed to supporting and protecting all shore and ship personnel living with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B from harassment or discrimination.

Therefore, JCB is committed to :

1. providing a safe and healthy work environment that minimizes the risk of infection posed by HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B.

2. ensuring confidentiality and privacy for any person who discloses HIV/AIDS or Hepatitis B infection in the course of employment with JCB.

3. taking disciplinary actions against any employees who discriminate against harass or victimise co-workers who are HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B.

4. protecting the rights of all shore and ship personnel who are infected with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B.
